The Grover Museum is hosting a historic wedding fashion show and luncheon in the Jones Gallery on July 22nd, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fashion show, which is hosted by Christa Carson-Weaver, owner of Elegant L, will take place after the luncheon, and will include many vintage dresses, as well as information on how fashion has changed over the years, unique traditions and where/ when those traditions originated.
The luncheon and fashion show will serve as a fundraiser for the museum, and will be catered by Shelbyville’s Your Box Catering. Lunch will include pork loin, roasted potatoes, green beans, pasta salad and macaroni and cheese. A cupcake dessert will be provided by Shelbyville’s Icing Shoppe.
The cost of the event is $20, and reservations, which are first come, are required. To place your reservations, call the museum, at 317-392-4634.
